Bareback with a flowing dress or beautifully lit to show their coats off we are happy to create all kinds of horse portraits. Obviously it helps if they have been recently groomed, perhaps with a fresh summer coat, just like when we photograph humans it's only fair that we get our trusty steeds to look their best too!
HORSE PHOTOGRAPHY IN THE STUDIO
Our photo studio is even large enough for horses and completely horse friendly being attached to the Great Moonshine stable yard! We have access to a private menage available right outside so we can combine a horse photo shoot in the studio with an outdoor photo shoot on the same day (weather permitting!)
HORSE PHOTOGRAPHY ON LOCATION
Some of our lovely clients have their own beautiful stables and locations so we do also offer a location shoot option where we bring our studio to you. This is often suitable if you have multiple horses that need photographing at one time.
HORSE PHOTOGRAPHY FOR EVENTS
We are available to photograph your Polo, Show Jumping or other Equine events. Please contact us with your event dates, location and any specific requirements.

What makes us different
we speak fluent horse
We have a stables right next to our studio so we are used to being around horses every day. We know that many of our clients have many photos of their horses, usually taken on mobile phones or sometimes from various events. By using professional photographic lighting we can elevate our portraits of your horse to something really special that will look amazing on your wall.
Horse Photo Shoot FAQ’s
what should i bring with me?
Well your horse obviously, hopefully all groomed and looking beautiful with their best bridle! (We don't always shoot with the bridle on)
how many HORSEs can i bring?
We can really only mange two inside the studio at once so if you want more than that please let us know as there are other options.
How long does the shoot last?
We usually allow up to an hour for one horse for studio work but on location it can be a lot more.
What should I wear
Much as we like the individual portraits of the horse we absolutely want to get a shot with the two of you together. By all means bring a selection of clothing, we have seen it all from smart dressage gear to ball gowns!
The photo shoot is just the start
Once the shoot is over we will book you in to come back to view the finished photos and order your finished products. This is secretly our favourite bit - the pressure is off and we love to see your reactions!
